It's springtime again, and in an effort to get William out of the house to expend energy, we signed him up for pee-wee soccer at the YMCA! Saturday was William's first practice.
There are about 8 children on William's team, The Blast. All boys, for now, but there were plenty of girls on the other teams. Not that it matters much right now, since pee-wees don't actually get to play games, they only practice.
The coach did a pretty good job rounding up the kids. He had them doing jumping-jacks, running around, and kicking the ball. I was impressed at how well William listened to the coach. Now if he could only listen to Ryan and I that well!!!
Anyway, William really enjoyed practice. He spent the rest of the weekend asking if he could play soccer again. Sure thing, kiddo! Next practice is April 5th! :)
