As part of the forced neighborhood improvement initiative, our HOA decided that our shutters were looking a little faded.
So this weekend I risked life and limb (well maybe only limb) to put a new coat of paint on our neglected shutters.
They do look much better.
However, the roof is much steeper than it looks.

With all that, the roof looks wet...Is that so?Glad you're safe. I must tell Craig to take a look!
I can't imagine someone FORCING me to fix something on my house. HOA's are no fun. BUT I bet you enjoy seeing the freshened look. Nice job Ryan!
And Elizabeth... of course you picked up a brush too!!!!
Ha! Negative, ghostrider. My job was to distract the kids (and the cats) so they didn't end up on the roof.
Oiy... HOA's are the death of good neighborhoods. Makes one feel like they either belong at the cool kids table or not. Glad they were completed with no injuries.
Good job! Damn the HOA!
Hoa's...boooooo!
OK I need to see more pictures. Enough of the HOA stuff...Mom
ooh that looked scary high! Did the HOA say they'd pay the doctor's bills??
Our HOA is much subtler... peer pressure. Works ever time.
