Could there be anything more fun than a complicated maze embedded within a corn field?
How about if you go in without a map, but have to collect pieces of the map at checkpoints throughout the maze?
Throw in a steady stream of Scottish music for ambiance and the fact that you get to carry around a giant flag to signal for help if you’re under distress, and you’ve got a smashing good time!
If you can’t guess, we visited Rural Hill’s Amazing Maize Maze on Sunday with the kids. This is one of our Fall-Time fun family events we look forward to every year. This year, we found all but four pieces of the map and with Magellan here leading the way, it took us only hour and a half to complete the maze.

That's one serious maze. 1 1/2 hrs to get through. Wow! What fun. William looked like he was studying that piece of paper very seriously.
Some of those Hair pictures of William, look's just like Ryan's did when he was his age. Just a mass of loopy curles. How about that color of Megans hair. Can that be any more beautiful. Such cuties....
What a great tradition!
That looks like SO much fun!!
That looks like alot of fun. I like the pic with all of the different flags.
You guys do such fun things together!!
AWESOME!!!! I love corn mazes with kids. It's pretty cool (except going without a map). Cool pics! Enjoying that new camera, eh? :)
These mazes are amazing.. I've never seen anything quite like them. A company works with farms to design the mazes and shows them how to cut them. If you look up Amazing Maize Maze, you'll see the other farms around the country that does this. There are a few in NY and one in PA (near Lancaster).
Ahhh...it's time for the fall traditions. Isn't it exciting. We are getting set for a bunch of them here too! That maze looks really fun. I love all the flags up in the air in that one picture...lot's of distress. HA!
Your kids are seriously such a cute combination of the two of you! I see you both in each picture.
