Sorry for the spotty postings this week, but this has not been the best week at the Cunningham house.
Early this week, William broke out into a rash on his cheeks, arms and legs. At first we thought it was sunburn, but when it got worse, we realized it was something more serious.
Turns out it was Fifth Disease. It’s sometimes called “Slapped Cheeks” because it looks like you’ve been slapped in the face a few times.
Because of a persistent cough, the doctor also x-rayed his chest, and he had Walking Pneumonia too! God must have been watching out for us, because if it weren’t for the Fifth Disease, William’s pneumonia could have gotten serious!
William’s doing well now. Fully rested and happy to spend a day home watching TV, he’s pretty much returned to his normal self.

By the look of his facial expression, yes, he is back to his normal self! What a character! I'm so glad that he is feeling better.
I'm glad you took him to the Doctors. I don't like rashes.They always mean something is brewing...
Hope he's better soon.
I love his curly hair! Glad he is feeling better. I hope the rest of you don't get sick.
Glad he's feeling better and I hope everything clears out soon. :) {{hugs to all}}
Both of my kids have had this. I had never heard of it before either. I don't think it was around when I was a kid. LOL Great expression on his face. lol Love it!
