Three day weekends are not always easy when you have children. The weekends in general are a little chaotic. The kids are off their schedule, and they are a little wound up from sleeping late.
Ryan and I decided to get away this weekend and take a mini-trip to Myrtle Beach!
William loved playing in the sand and the surf, that is, until a wave engulfed his entire body. He came up fine.. a few sea shells in his hair, but otherwise ok.
Megan did not like the sand at all. In fact, a few tiny grains of sand on her toes is a disaster to our little princess. She did enjoy the pool... mostly because there was live karaoke, and Megan loved the music. In my opinion, not every singer could carry a tune, but Megan must have disagreed because she clapped after every song.
