We’re back! And we’re covered with bug bites from this last vacation. I love the North East, but those pesky mosquitoes need to be dealt with.
Aside from the bugs, we had another wonderful family reunion. For anyone who doesn’t know, every year my Grandmother arranges for a family reunion in the Adirondack Mountains. We hike, bike, swim, and enjoy the company of our extended family. It’s great to catch up with my Aunts & Uncles and to see how my cousins are growing into their own.
Due to the enormous amount of pictures that were taken, I’m going to break this blog into several sections. Stay tuned for postings!
In the meantime, I’m going to leave you with a few images of Rocky Point (see below for links).

Looks like a fantastic spot to vacation with family. All pictures of kids are sooo cute the cousins are getting BIG. William is still beautiful and Megan is most beautiful of all.
Elizabeth,,,,,You have short hair!! Your Mom's is longer than yours. I never thought I'd see the day. Even tho it was in a vacation style, I bet it looks just great when ya fix it for work. hip hip horay. Now let it grow again. That's the treadmill we're all on.
Love ya,

Wow, those pictures are great! It looks like a really beautiful area!
The pic on the post is beautiful! I am going to look at the others. I am sure they are great too!
What fabulous pictures! It looks like you guys had a great time. Where is this place exactly? does your grandma rent the place and everyone stays there? How many people can stay there comfortably? My mind is already working, trying to plan my next family vacation/reunion there...
Oh yeah... this is Brittany.
Hi Brittany! For some reason, I knew that was you. :)
This is a place called Rocky Point in Inlet, NY (in the Adirondack Mountains). It took us about 5 hours to drive from there to NYC.
My grams rents 5 condos. Each sleeps 6 adults comfortably, but if you count pull-out couches and air mattresses, you could probably add three or four kids to that count.
We've been going there for the past 14 years. It's a great spot w/ lots to do. And the condos are really very nice.
Ohhhh...I wish we were still there!!
